In my two-cent opinion, the absolute best turkey season would be one in which the gunner snuffs one gobbler each of the first five weeks of the season and be tagged out put-the-gun-up done by April 15. That would provide for a sufficient number of misses, hunting with others and skunk days in between kills to remain modest. Taking one gobbler per week is about perfect. It’s enough to keep you going every day you can, and a good enough success/failure ratio to make any reasonable turkey hunter happy.
