Gas prices are lower today, and drivers can probably expect them to stay that way for a few more weeks.

“We have been dropping a little bit lately,” said Clay Ingram, a spokesperson for AAA of Alabama. Ingram said over the past month, the average price has dropped by about $0.06 per gallon. As of Friday, the state average was $2.22 per gallon.
