Schools on their way to becoming the best

It’s only been a year since Dr. Tommy Bice, superintendent of Alexander City public schools, came up with a plan to make the system one of the best in the state, and the schools are already well on their way to getting there.

Next week, the State Department of Education will release test scores from the SAT, Alabama Direct Writing Assessment and the Alabama High School Graduation Exam, all of which measure accountability.
