Mail carriers want to make a difference in the war on hunger, and they are asking for your help.

They are asking residents to put bags of non-perishable items at their mailboxes Saturday morning for the 17th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. While letter carriers of the U.S. Postal Service are delivering mail, they will pick up the sacks of food, which will be donated to local food banks.
