A crowd of people filed through the gate at the Charles E. Bailey Sportplex this weekend to attend the third annual Lake Martin Area Rodeo benefiting Childrens Harbor.

People arrived, some in boots and wide-brimmed cowboy hats, to a scene, which included clusters of horses, a mechanical bull, vendors and carnival-like concessions. The event, which featured professional cowboys, kicked off to well-known country songs that played over a sound system along with comments from the organizations leaders.
