New lane installations and renovations are happening at Idletime Family Center’s bowling alley, and the new look could spark renewed interest in the sport locally. 

Owner Michael Jones said he is replacing the wooden bowling lanes, gutters and walkouts. The new lanes will be synthetic, which is partly made of plastic.
