Unless you’re the state champion, there really is no good way to end a season. There is the upside of knowing that despite the season being over, every play made you better and prepared you for the next season. 

“We improved from the very beginning of the season until now,” Elmore County softball coach Meghan Harris said. “I think this team has really grown as one together, as far as on offense and defense, we’ve really done well at the plate, executing when we have runners on, and I think they've done a great job.”
