BAKERSFIELD, Calif -- Infamous cult leader and convicted mass murderer Charles Manson remained hospitalized in Bakersfield with a sigmoid lesion and lower gastrointestinal bleeding, a source told The Californian.

Manson, 82, was brought to Bakersfield from Corcoran State Prison before dawn Monday morning with the ailments, according to a source with knowledge of the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity.
