For the third year in a row the Elmore County Board of Education has heard from the teacher retention task force.

The task force reports to the board on issues teachers find relevant to retention and helping students succeed. It's a group who had the board’s attention as they reported on issues such as student mental health, truancy and loads of paperwork. The taskforce also reported success in handling issues previously brought to the board — especially communication.
