Summer is over and school is back in session! Kids and parents filed down the halls of Wetumpka Elementary School, hand-in-hand – some for the first time – the morning of Aug. 7. Both kids and parents shed some tears as they headed into classrooms, but teachers and staff were there to support and smooth the transition for everyone.
