Supreme Court allows third-country deportations, will hear arguments

(The Center Square) – The U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6-3 ruling on Tuesday, temporarily allowed the Trump administration to deport people to countries other than their own until oral arguments can be heard later this year. 

Justices on the high court will hear arguments in December over whether immigrants can object to being deported to countries other than their own. A federal judge in Massachusetts, Judge Brian Murphy, blocked the Trump adminstration from pursuing the policy.
