An accused murderer posted only $15,000 of a $1.5 million bond with a bonding company and was released from the Elmore County Jail. Nine days later, Zachary Lee was taken into custody until Judge Amanda Baxley gets questions about the process of only posting 1% of the original bond.

“It’s a farce to my order,” Baxley said. “It is an insult to my setting a $1.5 million bond.”
