Cliff Williams / TPI Even with the lines, James Spann took time to speak and take photos with everyone who wanted to.

Elmore County should have heeded James Spann non-traditional weather warning Saturday.

Spann left his Birmingham studio where he broadcasts weather reports, watches and warnings from and visited with fans at Restoration 49 in Tallassee. He spoke with everyone who waited in line asking where they were from. They stretched from Clanton to Wetumpka to Tallapoosa, Elmore and Macon counties.
