Annette Funderburk is the new president of Chattahoochee Valley Community College (2026). Recommended by Jimmy H. Baker – Chancellor of the Alabama Community College System (ACCS), she is the 8th president selected by the board in the college's history. 

The Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees has approved Chancellor Jimmy H. Baker’s recommendation to appoint Annette Funderburk as the eighth president of Chattahoochee Valley Community College.

Funderburk has served as interim president since December, following the retirement of former president Jackie Screws. She previously served for seven years as president of Ingram State Technical College.
