Ashley Randal (Randy) Willis

Ashley Randal (Randy) Willis, of Alexander City, Alabama, passed away at Grandview Medical Center on Aug. 22, from heart complications. He was born in Dadeville, Alabama, on May 27, 1946, and lived his entire life in Tallapoosa County. 

Randy graduated from Dadeville High School and attended Auburn University where he received double bachelor’s degrees and went on to earn a master’s degree from Montevallo University. Spending his professional career in the educational system, he worked at the Alexander City Board of Education, later becoming principal at Laurel Elementary School (now Stephens) until his retirement.
