Bobbye McElrath was born on July 19, 1943, in Jackson, MS, to Bob and Janie Lee Hollingsworth. She went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2022.

She left behind a husband of 55 years, the Rev. W.R. “Pete” McElrath, one daughter: Rebecca McElrath of Nashville, TN; two sons: John (Kristina) McElrath of Brandon, MS, and Douglas McElrath of Bartlett, TN.
