Donald W. Parlow, Sr.

Donald W. Partlow, Sr., 94, of Panama City, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010, at his home. He was born in Tipton, IN, and had lived in Panama City since 1958. Mr. Partlow served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII, and the U. S. Air Force during the Korean war.  He retired as grounds supervisor and landscape director at Gulf Coast Community College. During his 25 years at GCCC, Don transformed the campus from a vacant sand lot to the beautiful campus that it became. Don was an avid Braves fan and fisherman, and rarely missed a weekend being on his beloved Gulf of Mexico.

He was predeceased by his wife, 1st LT Annie G. Partlow, US Army Retired.
