KORB, Mrs. Zora N. 87, passed away at her Deatsville residence on Friday, June 8, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, with Brother Jimmy Simpler officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Survivors include a brother and sister, Rudolph Johnson and Nora Bails. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Korb; her parents, Robert and Jessie Johnson; siblings, J.E. Johnson, Howard Johnson, Gary Johnson, Robert F. Johnson, and George Harmon Johnson. “Mrs. Zora” had a servant’s heart and taught Vacation Bible School and Sunday School for many children in the Lightwood Community. She was adored by all. Active Pallbearers will be Wendy Bails, Andy Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Mark Nelson, Troy Sanders and Jimmy Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chester Sanders and Bill Milton.
