ESPN comes out with some college football predictions every year in the form of, what they refer to as, the Football Power Index. While I don't pay a whole lot of attention to any preseason rankings, I always look forward to this metric to get a general idea of how the power brokers feel about Auburn. 

According to the ESPN FPI, the Tigers have the No. 5 most difficult schedule in the nation in 2023. Obviously, that's not a surprise. AU is always going to have one of the most difficult schedules because it always plays Georgia, Alabama and LSU. The experts predict Auburn to go 6-6 and have less than a 1% chance of winning the SEC West.
