When we published the story about the finalization of the new hotel in Alex City, which will break ground Thursday, we were surprised to see the reaction.

Perhaps we shouldn’t have been because Alex City seems famous for negative comments, but there were definitely a few that stood out. A new Holiday Inn Express is scheduled to be built in Alex City with only a few incentives from the city council, and so many people jumped on the comments saying, “We don’t need another hotel.”
