The Auburn football Tigers will be headed up to Nashville, Tennessee on Dec. 30 to take on the Maryland Terrapins in the Music City Bowl. The Auburn basketball Tigers couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat up in Boone, North Carolina over the weekend and lost to Appalachian State 69-64. I’ll have a lot more to say about both of those subjects in the coming weeks, but today we must talk about the biggest story in college football and really all of sports. 

The College Football Playoff Committee released its final judgment choosing Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama for the final 4-team playoff before it expands to 12 teams next year. It was obviously a controversial decision dropping undefeated ACC champion Florida State from No. 3 to No. 5 and out of the playoff. Did they make the right decision? That all depends on who you ask.
