The forecast this week for hot temperatures and high heat indexes leaves no doubt summer has begun. I promised I would not complain about it. Once spring finally sprung, I was ready to boot the cold and rain right out the door. I can’t complain now about the warmth and humidity.

I enjoy spending time outdoors regardless of the weather so I thought it would be helpful if I shared some tips for staying cool in hot weather. It is important to take care of yourself in extreme weather regardless of which end of the thermometer the mercury is registering.
