My activism and advocacy against the passage of so-called anti-woke or anti-CRT legislation should not be mistaken for my belief or acceptance in the theory. Instead, I have confidence in the Constitution and the right to express ideas, even if they are unpopular.

I want critical race theory and its companion theory of intersectionality to be discussed so it can be challenged and debated like any other social theory. I also see the biggest threat to freedom to be the aims of those who wish to use state power to control conversations in state-supported institutions.
