Well, well, well, don’t I have egg on my face. As I’m sure my loyal column readers have seen throughout this fall, I’ve shared my thoughts once or twice about the current college football season and made some predictions about what I thought was going to happen. And after those New Year's six bowl games — don’t I look silly.

Every single team, excluding Indiana, I thought was going to win in the second round lost, which in turn has given us the most unique Final Four we’ve seen in modern college football. Although my family teams — Georgia and Texas Tech — are out of contention, I still can’t help but be a fan of the parity. But I digress. Now, as I have done before, it’s time to share my thoughts about each of the games.
