I just love when things get exciting in the middle of the week. Fresh after completing my column that ran in Wednesday’s Outlook, filling in for Andy Graham, who is on a much-needed vacation. I immediately saw upwards of 10 notifications from Twitter (X) and my go to NFL reporters — Ian Rapoport, Adam Schefter and Tom Pelissero (if you’re an NFL fan and you don’t follow any of them, do yourself a favor).

The Cleveland Browns traded future Hall of Famer and bona fide best defender in the league (debate me if you disagree), Myles Garrett, to the Los Angeles Rams. The full trade was the Browns receiver edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick — which could be flexed to a first if the Rams were to deal Garrett back to the AFC North. All for Garrett to join the Rams.
