Elmore County’s girls soccer team has been heating up right along with the weather this spring. The Panthers posted a strong start to the season, but had a bit of a drop off after the first four weeks of the season and into the first round of area play as fatigue, injuries and frustrations seemed to bubble up.

Now with just four games left to play in the regular season, including one final game of area play, ECHS is on track to clinch a playoff berth in AHSAA Class 5A Area 6. The Panthers’ only two losses of the season came at a low point for Coach Leslie Hines and her players.
