As the Elmore County Panthers closed the final week of the boys basketball season before area tournaments, they hosted the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs for a penultimate inter-county battle. Unfortunately, it did not go the Panthers’ way, as they fell to SEHS, 51-36, ultimately due to a lack of vigor and intensity on offense.
The game got off to a slow start, to say the least. After the first quarter, the Mustangs led ECHS, 7-1.
