Last season, Wetumpka’s baseball team was 16-5 heading into spring break. The Indians finished out area play in the following two weeks, but managed to win only three games in the final weeks of the season before exiting in the first round of the playoffs. 

This season, the Indians are 13-5 and heading into the final three weeks of the season, including area play, before playoffs kick off in April. With their appearance in a spring break tournament in Hoover, the Indians are hoping to stave off the post-break slump and keep up momentum into April’s area play.
