Another Auburn baseball season that was filled with anticipation, expectation and numerous accolades has ended in disappointment. The Tigers fell to the Ole Miss Rebels over the weekend in front of a record crowd at Plainsman Park.

For the second year in a row, AU was the No. 4 national seed and hosting a Super Regional. Also, for the second year in a row, AU failed to win a single game against their opponent. In 2025, it was Coastal Carolina. In 2026, it was the Rebel Black Bear Land Sharks from Oxford. I really thought the Tigers would play much better after battling back and overcoming the odds in the Regional.
