It’s late in the summer and every high school football player in the state is rearing and ready for Alabama’s iconic Friday night lights. Before Friday nights can become a reality, players and coaches have to endure the remainder of summer camps. At this point in the season, organized team activities are the name of the game.

Tallassee got off to a later start than usual this season as new football coach and athletic director Eric Folmar finally kicked things off last June. The Tigers have participated in two organized team activities so far this summer, getting practice in game situations at Trinity Presbyterian earlier this month before hosting Lee-Scott Academy at J.E. “Hot” O’Brien last week.
