It was well worth the wait, but the Dadeville indoor track and field team finally has the ring to commemorate its outstanding achievement as the 2024 Class 1A-3A Indoor State Championship, with their ring ceremony held on Friday. 

Coaches Mardracus Russell and Michael Taylor passed out rings to all 16 individuals who made up the track and field team: Ja’Melvin Adamson, Philip Baker, Brody Buchanan, AJ Coker, Cale Hanks, Brennon Holley, Dayton Lankert, Kenneth Lewis Jr., Ariah Lockhart, Kodi Morgan Jr., Michael Mosley, Arielle Russell, Abraham Siter, Damarion Stowes, Keyshun Woodyard and Justice Young.
