With the chaos that is the summer, coaches and athletes alike are trying to balance the responsibilities of jobs or other activities along with their respective sports. The school year is inching closer and closer each day and summer workouts are in full swing. 

Stanhope Elmore’s volleyball team, coached by Flavia Freeney — the reigning Elmore County Volleyball Coach of the year — is in the midst of managing all of the conflicting responsibilities of athletes this summer.
