Earlier this year, things were shaken up in the world of Tallassee athletics as news broke that football coach Lawrence “L.A.” O’Neal would be departing for Park Crossing. Shortly after, the Tallassee school board confirmed the hiring of Greenville assistant coach Eric Folmar to take over the program. 

As the school year approaches its conclusion, more changes are occurring in the athletic department. Tallassee offensive coordinator Alfonzo Johnson announced he would be stepping away from Tallassee in a Facebook post on Monday.
