After a cancellation from Beulah for Monday’s game, Holtville baseball coach Michael Graffman called up Stanhope Elmore’s DK Shuman and scheduled a last-minute rivalry revival between the Bulldogs and the Mustangs. The game was close through all seven innings of play, although SEHS came out on top with a 4-2 win.

“It was a fun game,” Shuman said. “The guys made the plays they’re supposed to make, and didn’t panic. And that’s what we’ve been trying to emphasize to them, to just keep playing the game. When adversity hits, you just keep playing and make the plays you’re supposed to make.”
