Ana Sofia Meyer / TPI The Tallassee Tigers wrestling team are AHSAA 1A-4A dual state champions for the second-straight year, defeating Oak Grove.

Sustained dominance is a feat most teams can only dream of. Tallassee and its wrestlers are truly one of one. 

On Friday afternoon the Tigers defeated Oak Grove Academy, 42-30, for the second year in a row to become the back-to-back dual state champions. The title win also notched coach John Mask his 700th dual win – truly a historic day for Tallassee wrestling.
