Elmore County heads into second round, faces Williamson

After an electric double-overtime win against Demopolis last week, the Elmore County Panthers are getting their wish of hosting a playoff game at Burt-Haynie Field this week. 

“I’m just excited for the boys to reach their goal,” ECHS coach Kyle Caldwell said. “A lot of times you write down your goals and you accomplish goals one, two and three, but there’s always one of those you don’t ever get to, but they accomplished their goal of hosting a playoff game. So that’s a really big deal around here; it hasn’t been done in a really long time.”
