Balancing a budget takes understanding and practice, especially when a financial situation feels hopeless. 

The Dadeville Public Library hosted local banker Cheyenne Banks who held a budgeting workshop to help community members tailor their finances. Banks led attendees through a mock budget and gave packets detailing the character Marta’s wants and needs and her monthly financial expenses. She also led students through their own wants and needs and monthly financial expenses to understand how to budget better and where some finances could be cut to help save and pay off debt.
