Reeltown Elementary School new principal Penny Johnson most recently served as the deputy superintendent for Tallapoosa County Schools for two years. Some might wonder why she made the change from being a leader in TCS’ central office to being Reeltown Elementary’s leader. However for her, the answer is simple: she missed being around kids. Johnson has more than 25 years of educational experience with a multitude of educational titles from math teacher to athletic director to director of secondary education and so on.
