To support its police department, the Camp Hill Town Council is looking at instating a noise ordinance. However, there are some revisions it has to make before it is passed.

The original ordinance stated quiet hours would be 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. to 7 a.m Friday and Saturday. Council members Derrick Jackson and Constance Heard said they would want Friday and Saturday hours 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. After discussion Camp Hill Mayor Juanita Woody said the noise ordinance with an adjustment to the hours could not be voted on until the next council meeting.
