Repairs are making its way through Camp Hill’s water system, but progress sometimes comes slowly.

The East Tallapoosa Water and Sewer Board took over Camp Hill’s water system on Aug. 1. Since the transition, the board has addressed 78 water leaks without the $10 million the board is still waiting on from the state of Alabama to address the town’s water system. East Tallapoosa Water and Sewer board member Richard White said there are still more leaks to fix.
