Getting students put in their correct district could be next on the agenda of the Tallapoosa County Board of Education. 

During last Wednesday's work session, the board discussed a Horseshoe Bend School parent whose current home is zoned for Dadeville, but is currently building a home in Horseshoe Bend School district where the parent’s student attends. After discussion, TCBOE superintendent Casey Davis said he will handle the issue with that parent instead of the parent addressing the board as the decision was the parent’s home needed to be completed before the end of Christmas break.
