As the recipient of the Chamber Ambassador of the Year award, Kimberly Hyde is focusing her efforts on doing what is in the best interest of the chamber.
As an ambassador, Hyde largely works on creating marketing and advertising materials for the Lake Martin-Dadeville Area Chamber of Commerce. She also creates presentations for events such as the awards banquet last month. She said she is most proud of the creative print advertisement the chamber currently has running. She described the advertisement as a bit out-of-the-box and is fond of the slogan, “Small Town. Big Thinkers.” attached to the ad. It also has photos of the Dadeville area and “Live. Work. Play.” in big letters on the top left.

Lamar, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens,
Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega,
Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa and Walker.
* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
