If there is a way to stop the Dadeville football team’s rushing attack, it has yet to be found.

In the Class 2A Region 4 opener against Randolph County, the opposing Tigers were sitting ducks for the two-headed monster of Davis McKelvey and Corde Jefferson. McKelvey extended his lead as the leading touchdown scorer, putting up 95 rushing yards and two scores — averaging 13.6 yards per carry. Passing-wise, McKelvey had another 75 yards and one score, connecting with DeKarie Daniels for a touchdown. Jefferson joined in on the fun with 85 rushing yards and one touchdown of his own, averaging 7.7 yards per carry.
