An author native to Dadeville is continuing her mission to teach life lessons at a young age. 

Negrita Smart has announced her newest children’s book “Daniel Chooses to Forgive” releasing in spring of this year. The book is the first in her series about Daniel, who was first seen in her previous series on 5-year-old Grace, and tackles the topic of forgiveness through the sport of baseball. In a press release, Smart said the book opens the door for conversations about emotions and second chances.
