Edgewood used its “bend but don’t break” strategy to edge out an assault of the air calvary from the Southern Prep Rangers, ultimately winning 12-8.

The Rangers’ senior quarterback, Enrique Burguette, threw 40 times against the Wildcat defense. With Edgewood up 12-8, Burguette had two chances to throw from midfield in the closing seconds in an attempt to tie the game.
