The first-ever graduates of the Edward Bell Career Technical Center fire school have a new set of skills under their helmets.

The students have their certifications, but will be officially awarded in May during the Edward Bell awards ceremony. The Alabama Fire College may not recognize the students until they are 18, but they all learned about fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, ladder climbing and general fire safety tricks.
