The Bulldogs didn’t even have a chance to bark one good time. The No. 2 Reeltown Rebels affixed a lead to their opponents’ collars and proceeded to dog-walk Ranburne up and down the field en route to a 42-0 homecoming victory Friday night at Nix Webster O’Neal Stadium.

“We had a really good week of practice,” Rebels coach Matt Johnson said. “It’s homecoming week, so a lot is going on and a lot of ways to get distracted. We wanted them to enjoy it, especially the seniors since it's their last one. But we had three really good days of practice. I thought today went as well as it could go with all the festivities. Had a really good homecoming day, and they locked in when they needed to lock in.”
