Families gathered at the Dadeville High School track on a sunny Saturday afternoon for the annual Kiddos and Cops event. Young ones showed off their animal face paintings in fun colors, had a blast on a mechanical bull and took advantage of every inflatable available. The Dadeville Police Department and Fire Department set up booths for families to visit as well as other local community groups. The event’s founder Melinda Silmon said a few words along with another local community member encouraging youth to make the right choices.
