A 5-month-old, furry and four-legged friend has jumped on board as the newest member of the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office. 

Echo, a poodle in training to become an emotional support dog for the office’s dispatch team, is currently learning commands, such as sit, high five and come. TCSO communication supervisor Kim Cotney said once his training is completed he will be registered as a good citizen K-9.
