The Camp Hill Town Council is trying again with its noise ordinance.

During last Wednesday’s special called meeting, the Camp Hill Town Council hashed out its concerns and amendments it needed to add to its noise ordinance. During discussion, council member Constance Heard said she likes the quiet hours of 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The original hours in an ordinance that failed to pass at the last meeting, Sunday through Thursday quiet hours began at 10 p.m. and 11p.m. Friday and Saturday. Council member Duane Blackwell agreed with Heard’s proposed hours, but was open to either start time. Camp Hill Mayor Juanita Woody also agreed with the later start time, however, council member Robert Shelley preferred the earlier start for the weekend hours.
